Bronze Service
Clean & Adjust
Turnaround: 1-2 days
- Safety check - All fixings checked and secured as required
- Gear & brake adjustments
- Check tyre pressure and inflate as required
- Advise of any other safety critical issues and provide estimated costs
- Cleaning: Frame, fork & wheels wipe down
Silver Service
Comprehensive
Turnaround: 3-4 days
- Everything in Bronze, plus:
- Full gear service with stainless steel gear cable replacement
- Full mechanical brake service with stainless steel cable replacement (hydraulic bleed available at additional cost)
- Chain, cassette & chainring wear checked and advised
- Headset & bottom bracket inspection
- Wheel truing as required
- Cleaning: Detailed wash, dry & drivetrain re-lube
Gold Service
Overhaul
Turnaround: 4-8 days
- Everything in Silver, plus:
- Headset service - greased and reassembled (additional cost for cartridge headset/bottom bracket types)
- Wheels trued if required - condition advised, overall tension checked and adjusted, lateral and radial true checked
- Wheel hub service including loose ball bearings (cartridge bearings at additional cost)
- Full drivetrain degrease, clean and re-lube
- Cleaning: Full bike clean including polish

About Your Mechanic
I'm Jonathan a Cytech Technician bicycle mechanic with 12+ years of experience working on everything from vintage road bikes to modern e-bikes. I specialize in complex drivetrain work and e-bike diagnostics.
Every bike that leaves my workshop is treated like it's my own—you get expert care, honest advice, and fair pricing. I believe in taking time to do things right, which is why I work by appointment only.
When I'm not in the workshop, you'll find me cycling around Northumberland, County Durham or tinkering with vintage bikes.
